Intensive mental health services provide a higher-level team approach of behavioral health support for individuals experiencing significant or complex mental health needs. These services offer more frequent and coordinated interventions, which may include therapy, case management, psychiatric care, crisis support, and family involvement. The goal is to help individuals stabilize, improve daily functioning, reduce the need for hospitalization or crisis services, and successfully transition to a less intensive level of care when appropriate.
