Relative Home Assessment Services (RHAS)

Relative Home Assessment Services (RHAS) program facilitates the safety inspection, home evaluation, and facilitation of training to allow for placement of children with relatives. RHAS also will work with families to remove barriers from such approval that could potentially inhibit placement of the children

What is Relative Home Assessment Services?

The relative home assessment services program offers support to assist relative caregivers secure placement of family members who were detained into out of home care. This support is through the offering of mandated trainings, financial assistance to ready the home, and removal of barriers as possible to secure certification to accept placement of children
