RaiseAChild works to recruit, retain, and support resource parents for children and youth in foster care. The program partners with foster/resource agencies to advance their recruitment, retention, and support of affirming resource/foster parents. RaiseAChild welcomes prospective foster parents of all backgrounds, family structures, sexual orientations, and gender identities. The program also works to ensure that LGBTQIA2S+ youth in foster care are placed in safe, affirming, and supportive homes where they can thrive.
