What is Antelope Valley Community Family Resource Center Collaborative?

The Antelope Valley Community Family Resource Center (AV CFRC) Collaborative works to strengthen families by addressing the root causes of family stress, including poverty and lack of access to resources. The program is designed for AV residents (individuals and families) who display identified risk, are underserved, and/or those who may be at risk but might not know about mental health issues and need support. Through a network of Community Family Resource Centers across the Antelope Valley, the program provides free, comprehensive services designed to support safety, stability, and well-being. These community hubs offer culturally responsive support, connect families to essential resources, and elevate resident voice and leadership. Currently, AV CFRC Collaborative has 3 functioning CFRCs led by All For Kids in Central Palmdale- Partner CFRCs are operated by AVPH (Antelope Valley Partners for Health) in Central Lancaster; and FCM (Foundation Christian Ministries) operating in East Palmdale. AFK’s AV CFRC (i.e., Roaming Team) travels to meet residents where they are, including hard to reach/poor infrastructure areas like Little Rock and Lake LA. Services are available in-person, by phone, and virtually, with outreach efforts extending to underserved and hard-to-reach areas. Open to all Antelope Valley residents, the program helps families access the support they need to thrive.

The AV CFRC Collaborative brings support directly into the heart of the Antelope Valley through welcoming community hubs where families can find connection, resources, and care. Designed to meet families where they are, the program offers free, comprehensive services that strengthen stability and reduce barriers to support. With a strong focus on community voice, cultural responsiveness, and partnership, CFRCs create a trusted network where individuals and families feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
