What is Family Stabilization?

The Family Stabilization program supports CalWORKs families in South and West Orange County who are facing challenges that impact their stability and well-being and interfere with their ability to participate in Welfare to Work activities and services. When unexpected situations or crises make it difficult to focus on work or daily responsibilities, the program provides compassionate, personalized support to help families regain their footing. Services include assistance with housing, access to basic needs, and connections to additional resources based on each family’s goals. By helping families navigate difficult moments, Family Stabilization promotes resilience, stability, and a path forward.
