Social Workers Support Push for More Family Placement

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to support the development of a plan which would increase the placement of children in foster care with relatives or extended family.

Children’s Bureau social workers like Melissa Salvador are excited about the new push. She feels it will positively impact the lives of many local children.
